Jackie Gray
Jackie Gray is the instructor of our General Music, Beginner Recorder, and Intermediate Recorder classes. She graduated from West Georgia College in 1993 with a degree in Piano Performance/Pedagogy. She has been involved in church music since high school, and she is currently the pianist for Calvary Baptist Church in Ball Ground. She homeschools her four children, ages 9 to 15. |
| Anna Ragan
Anna Ragan is in her second year of teaching, after completing two music degrees at Reinhardt University. While there, she performed solo flute, and participated in flute choir, jazz band, orchestra, and wind ensemble. She has also served as a clinician, instructor, and guest conductor in Cobb, Cherokee, Pickens, and Barrow counties. While at Reinhardt, Anna was extensively involved in leadership with the Collegiate Music Educators National Conference, and served as Reinhardt chapter president and as a state board member during her senior year. She was also awarded the 2009 Phi Beta Mu International Bandmaster’s Association Outstanding Music Education Award. She is a member of Alpha Chi (academic)and Pi Lambda (music) honor societies, and her professional affiliations include Professional Association of GA Educators, National Flute Association, Georgia Music Educator’s Association and the National Band Association. In addition to being the band director with the North Georgia Home School band, she is also the Administrative Assistant for the School of Music at Reinhardt University. |
Charity Neese
Charity Neese is the director of the Children's Choir and Teen Choir. A senior at Reinhardt University, Charity will receive her bachelor's degree in music performance in Fall of 2011. At Reinhardt, Charity is the accompanist for the Concert Choir and Vocal Jazz Project. She also plays trombone and organ in the Reinhardt Wind Ensemble and has played percussion with the Reinhardt Orchestra as well. She was the winner of Reinhardt's Concerto Competition in 2011 and performed a piano concerto with the orchestra in Spring of 2011. She is a member of Reinhardt's chapter of the Collegiate Music Educators National Conference and has served as secretary and president of Reinhardt's chapter of the Collegiate Music Teachers National Association. She is also a member of Alpha Chi, Pi Kappa Lambda and Who's Who Among American Colleges and Universities. Charity is the pianist at Bethel Baptist Church in Woodstock in addition to being a private piano instructor. |
